Sally Neill: Come so far, still so far to go!
Hi folks,
In today’s post I want to give huge congratulations to Internet Marketing’s hardest working wee elf, Sally Neill.
I met Sally as many of us did, through Alex Jeffreys’ coaching program; although I didn’t actually meet her until I bumped into her at a petrol station earlier this year!
When we first ‘met’ her she was working a day job behind a desk and in the evening, juggling her time between her young daughter and aggressive blog hopping and ebook writing.
I think this should serve as great inspiration to anyone who feels they just don’t have time to make this ‘Internet marketing’ thing work.
Sally was also the subject of my first interview. She had blogged about her first interview with David Walker and I took her advice about just taking action. I was also her first interviewer and we both blogged about the experience so I’m not going to go into it any more here. She says I was nervous but I know it was just an act. Honest!
Anyway, after all Sally’s hard work building her own business, she was offered a job with her mentor Alex Jeffreys which finally allowed her to go full time online.
What followed was months of intensive marketing training and experience in video tutorial production which set her up perfectly for the next logical step: leaving the Jeffreys nest and spreading her wings in her own right.
Sally is launching her own coaching course called ‘Learn With Sally’
on July 23rd and I offer her my heartiest congratulations on this fantastic achievement.
She really has come so far and I’m sure she has much further to go as she is an avid learner. Luckily for us she is also an avid teacher, and a damn good one at that, so we are bound to benefit.
I would also urge any of you who can make it to attend Sally’s first solo webinar this evening (21st July) at 9pm BST UK time.
She will be giving some fantastic content free of charge and you will see, if you haven’t already, just how good a teacher she is. The link to sign up is:
https://www3.gotomeeting.com/register/671960518. Hope to see you there.
So thanks Sally, congratulations and I wish you all the best for the future. I for one will be coming along for the ride.

Hey Hey Hey David,
Got your text lol, did you have to blog about me…
I am trying to work on my powerpoint presentation for tonite how dare ya! – joke of course.
Thank you so much for writing such a lovely post about me, you put a big giant smile on my face!
Feels really weird when I visit blog posts written about myself…
I often think…
OMG did I really do all that – still amazes me to this day.
But I guess it just shows if you are willing to face your fears (like you did with our first interview, and like you have continued to do by going and meeting John Thornhill in person etc) then big things can happen for you online.
(Bet you were more excited meeting me at the garage, with my hair all sticking up, looking like I had been dragged through a bush backwards though wasn’t ya, go on admit it lol)
You know I always say this, but I am nothing special, just an everyday kinda gal, and all I have ever done is face fears, take action and focus on finishing and it has served me well.
Anyone, and I truly mean anyone, can achieve what I have so far, they just gotta go for it and work hard as they can – oh and having a plan always helps too lol.
And if you dont have a mentor….get one…Alex Jeffreys made all the difference to my online career.
Really was lovely meeting ya, and I will go for that coffee (coke) with you someday soon I promise.
Thanks again, always lovely to see some “shout out sharing” from the cool crowd.
Catch ya laterrrrrr

Hi David
Thank you for such a wonderful blog post and your experience of how you bumped into Sally at the Petrol station lol – It’s always great to see and hear success stories like yours and Sally’s which also helps inspires others of what is possible, and well done for recently meeting John Thornhill in person, I think a lot of people will be envy of you for meeting John Thornhill and spending a day at his office, having tea together – lol.
On a slightly more serious note, I am very delighted for you in that you have found your mentor in John and I look forward to joining your journey and hearing more about it.
All the best with your business and promotion

Thanks Nigel, you’re not doing too badly yourself!
The day at John’s office was great and gave me lots to think about and get on with. I will be adding to the success story soon enough.
I will post details of my journey as it happens and I look forward to hearing about yours.
All the best,
David

Hey David,
It’s good to see a fellow marketer break from the norm and spread her wings. We have to take our hats off to Sally.
She is a very down to earth person which is kind of funny to say as I have only really contacted her through our blogging worlds email and skype.
But you can learn so much about people just from their presence on the net. And Sally is one of them. Unfortunately I missed the webinar with Sally to learn even more marketing tips. But I am sure her students will be getting a tone of value

Yes my hat is off too. Hope I don’t get sunburn!
Sally’s webinar was cancelled due to technical difficulties but the first coaching webinar got great feedback. I wasn’t on it but everyone seems very happy.
Looking forward to seeing your next product.

Hey David
I’ve heard Sally been called a lot of things before but not
a wee elf lol
Although come to think of it she’s not that tall.
(Don’t tell her I said that cause she’ll slap me) lol
Seriously now…..
Sally is an inspiration to us all and it just goes to show that if you get stuck in and take the action needed, you can achieve whatever you want to achieve.
I can honestly say I’ve learnt more from Sally than all the other marketers put together.
So when she opened up the doors of Learn With Sally I was the first in the queue to get my place…
And I’m soooooooooo glad I did cause we had our first call on Thursday and Sally was totally awesome.
Learn with Sally is going to be a huge success because all Sally’s energy is rubbing off on us…
And it couldn’t of happened to a nicer person as she totally deserves her place up there with the big guns.
Take care and I’ll catch up with you soon.

Hi David,
Sally is proof that if you do it right, Internet marketing is very possible and you can eventually leave your offline job and work from anywhere on the planet you want. The world is yours. The chains are gone!
There are numerous goals to set up in this business in your everyday but breaking the chains should be the ultimate.
I’m so happy for Sally and she sure is living proof that anyone can do this online business if you apply yourself and get someone worthy to follow.
She is the perfect person to follow and she has such a way about her that you truly learn.
Keep on keeping on Dave,

First of all thanks for this great post. I don’t have a coach myself but I divided my own goal into sub-goals and daily goals so I could achieve that goals on my own with help of an coach.
